Cross Country (Sophomore):
· Placed 41st at the NCAA South Central Regionals clocking a season-best 6K mark of 22:24...finished fourth overall for the Longhorns.
· Ran a season-best 5K time of 18:27 to finish ninth at the Texas State Invitational.
2007-08
Outdoor (Freshman):
· Placed 13th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Big 12 Championship with a time of 11:54.63.
· Took first in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Texas Twilight (11:14.51).
· Finished 10th in the 1,500-meter run at the Rice Twilight, finishing in 4:51.76.
Indoor (Freshman):
· Posted a personal-best mile time of 5:17.11 to place fifth at the Houston Indoor.
· Set a career-best mark in the 5,000-meter run (17:57.89) finishing third at the Leonard Hilton Memorial.
· Ran the fastest 3,000-meters of her career at the Houston Invite crossing the finish line in 10:20.89 for 10th place.
Cross Country (Freshman):
· One of two freshmen runners on the 2007 cross country team... had two top-10 individual finishes during her first season at Texas.
· Clocked a 6K season-best time of 22:24 at the NCAA South Central Regional Championship finishing fourth for Texas and 41st overall.
· Ran in 24:21.15 and placed in the top 100 at the Big 12 Championship.
· Finished ninth in her first collegiate meet at the Texas State Invitational, running the three miles in 18:53.22.
· Scored for the second consecutive meet, contributing 15 points and an 18th place performance at the Texas A&M Invitational (18:44).
· Placed fifth overall at the Islander Splash in 17:51.
· Registered a time of 22:48.4 to finish 77th at the Chile Pepper Festival.
PRIOR TO TEXAS
· Competed from 2003-07 for Cypress Creek High School... the Bears finished as cross country district champions in 2003 and 2007... coached by Carol Gibson and named most improved and most valuable player for cross country... graduated sixth out of 649 in senior class.
· Took first in the 1,600 at the Tomball Invitational... finished the race in a personal-best time of 5:04.61.
· Matched her personal best 1,600-meter time of 5:04.61 at the 2007 Cy Fair Relays... hit a lifetime best in the 800 of 2:17.51 at the 2007 Klein Relays.
· Three-time District 17-5A Championship... captured the 2007 title in 2:18.94... won the 800 at the 2006 district championships in 2:18.90... placed first in 2005 in 2:20.41.
· Placed in the top 25 and ran 11:41.20 at the 2006 Texas Cross Country State Championships.
· Registered a time of 5:05.29 at the District 17-5A meet and 5:08.63 at the Region 3-5A meet.
· Captured the 3,200-meter championship at the 2006 College Park Invitational (10:59.69).
· Finished third at the 2006 Cy-Fair ISD meet (12:10) and fourth in the two-mile run (12:16.23) at the Woodland Cooper Meet.
· Ran a personal best three-mile time of 19:40 at the 2006 Texas A&M Invitational.
· Member of the National and Spanish Honor Societies... vice president of Mu Alpha Theta... volunteered at Cypress Assistance Ministries... counselor at Camp Barnabas.
