The Longhorns will play in their 11th-straight NCAA Championship at Rich Harvest Farms.
AUSTIN, Texas –
NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP – Sugar Grove, Ill.
Date of competition: Friday, May 26-Wednesday, May 31
Site: Rich Harvest Farms
Par 72; 7,300 Yards
Format: Finals will consist of three days of stroke play on Friday, May 26 through Sunday, May 28 (54 holes), after which the top-15 teams and nine individuals not on an advancing team will be determined. That is followed by a final day of 18 holes of stroke play (Monday, May 29) to determine the top eight teams that will advance to match play, as well as the 72-hole individual champion. The team national champion will be determined by a match play format that will consist of quarterfinals and semifinals conducted on Tuesday, May 30 followed by the finals on Wednesday, May 31.
The 2017 finals competition schedule will be as follows:
Thursday, May 25: Practice Round
Friday, May 26: Round One
Texas tee time: 1:22 p.m. off #1
Saturday, May 27: Round Two
Texas tee time: 8:02 a.m. off #10
Sunday, May 28: Round Three competition (18 holes to determine the top-15 teams along with the top nine individuals not on an advancing team for final round of stroke play competition)
Tee time: first tee time is at 6:45 a.m.
Monday, May 29: Final round of stroke play (18 holes to determine the top-eight teams to participate in match play competition/72-hole individual champion crowned)
Tee time: first tee time is 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday, May 30: Quarterfinals and semifinals of match play
