Baseball loses 1-0 at Kansas

Blair Henley allowed one run in eight innings pitched.
LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas scored one run in the first inning and came away with a 1-0 win over Texas Baseball Saturday at Hoglund Ballpark.
Blair Henley pitched a gem, allowing just one run on six hits in eight innings pitched. He struck out seven batters in the Longhorns' first complete game of the season.
Kansas started the game with a single, sacrificed the runner to second base and got a one-out RBI single to drive in the game-winning run.
Eric Kennedy was 2-for-4 with the only Longhorn hits of the game and Ryan Reynolds walked twice.
Texas will look to salvage the series on Sunday at 1 p.m.
