AS A JUNIOR (2019)
Led the Longhorns with a 6-4 record on the mound...finished the year with a 3.54 ERA in 73.2 innings pitched over 13 starts...struck out the second-most batters on team with 62...matched a career-high eight innings pitched, allowing just one run on six hits with seven strikeouts at Kansas on May 4...bounced back for one of his best starts of the season, pitching seven innings and allowing just one run with six strikeouts against Kansas State on April 13...made fifth-consecutive quality start, allowing just one earned run in six innings pitched against Xavier on March 30...pitched well in return to his hometown, Fort Worth, tossing six innings and allowing one run with six strikeouts against TCU March 23...logged a season-high seven innings pitched and allowed two runs on three hits with six strikeouts against Texas Tech on March 16...pitched six innings and allowed no earned runs with a career-high-tying eight strikeouts at Stanford on March 9...tossed first quality start of the season, pitching six innings and allowing three unearned runs with six strikeouts against No. 2 LSU on March 2...battled through 6.2 innings to get the win over Purdue on Feb. 23...allowed four earned runs and struck out four Purdue hitters...tagged for four runs on five hits in two innings pitched during season debut at Louisiana Feb. 16.

Was named an All-Big 12 second team starting pitcher…finished the year with a 3.32 ERA in 18 appearances (16 starts) over 86.2 innings…on June 3 vs. Indiana, went 7.1 innings and allowed two runs (none earned) and no walks to go along with a season-high eight strikeouts to lead the Longhorns to a Regional-clinching win…exited after 3.2 innings on May 19 vs. TCU and did not factor into the decision after walking a career-high six batters…allowed four runs for the fourth straight outing at Texas Tech but got a no decision…tabbed with the loss on April 29 vs. West Virginia after allowing four runs in 6.0 innings…allowed four runs (none earned) on April 22 vs. New Orleans in the loss…lasted just 4.1 innings on March 16 at Oklahoma, allowing four runs on nine hits and one walk…went seven innings on April 8 vs. Baylor, limiting the Bears to one run (a solo homer) to earn his fifth win…picked up the win in a designated start on April 2t at Texas A&M - Corpus Christi…went 3.0 shutout innings, allowing two hits and a walk…went just 3.1 innings last Thursday night at K-State…allowed four runs on nine hits and recorded just one strikeout…was solid for six innings against Oklahoma State on Friday night before allowing the first three to reach in the 7th…finished with five earned runs allowed and a season-high seven Ks …tossed 7 shutout innings on March 17 vs. Kansas to pick up his third win of the year and lower his ERA to 1.80…allowed 5 earned runs in 6 innings of work on March 10 vs. Stanford…extended his scoreless innings streak to 12.0 innings with six shutout frames on March 3 in game two vs. Northwestern…he allowed just two hits (one, a bunt single) and no walks while striking out four and throwing just 76 pitches…earned Big 12 Pitcher of the Week honors thanks to his 6.0 shutout innings on Feb 25 at LSU…he allowed six hits and three walks and picked up the win…went 5.0 innings, striking out five, walking one, and allowing one earned run and received a no decision in his season debut vs. Louisiana (2/18)…was recognized at No. 76 in D1Baseball.com’s Top 100 College Prospects list prior to the season.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017)
Made 17 appearances and 10 starts in his freshman campaign…finished with a 4.23 ERA (29-ER, 61.2-IP)…allowed just one home run on the season (March 19 vs. Texas Tech)…made one relief appearance in the NCAA regional, allowing one run in two innings at Long Beach State on June 4 and taking the loss…turned in a gem with a May 27 start vs. TCU in the Big 12 tournament…allowed 2 unearned runs on 4 hits and 3 walks over 6.0 innings in the game to help the Longhorns advance to the Big 12 Championship game…tossed 5 shutout innings in a start on April 18 vs. Texas State…made his first relief appearance on April 8 vs. Oklahoma and tossed 2.1 perfect innings, striking out 4…on April 2 at Kansas, threw 7.2 innings but allowed five runs in the loss…on March 4 at Stanford, tossed his first career complete game (8.0-IP) but took the loss in the 2-1 ballgame…made his first career start in game two of the doubleheader on Feb 18 vs. Rice…picked up his first collegiate win, going 5.0 innings and allowing one run on 3 hits and a walk while striking out a career-high 8.

Named a 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American following his senior season at Arlington Heights HS…threw three consecutive no-hitters (March 17, March 24, April 1) for the Yellow Jackets.
