Texas then grabbed their first lead of the game with three runs on three hits in the bottom of the third inning. With Dylan Campbell at first base, Porter Brown legged out a bunt single to put two runners on. Garret Guillemette walked to load the bases before Jack O'Dowd hit a two run single and Mitchell Daly followed with an RBI single of his own.
