· Played in 61 games with 58 starts at first base.
· Hit out of the clean-up spot on 19 occasions, fifth in the order 12 times and the six hole 18 times.
· Batted .319 with 41 runs, 76 hits, 20 doubles, two triples, six home runs and a team-high 65 RBI.
· Posted a .991 fielding percentage with 493 putouts, 38 assists and five errors.
· Pitched in 16 games, all out of the bullpen, amassing 17.2 innings.
· Posted a 1-0 record with two saves, a 4.08 ERA and 16 strikeouts.
· Batted .250 in Big 12 action with 14 runs, 24, hits, four doubles, three home runs and 18 RBI in 27 games.

· Went 7-for-12 with three runs, nine RBI and three doubles in two-game series sweep of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3/4-5).
· Logged a team season-high eight RBI in second game against TAMU-CC (3/5).
· Went 4-for-4 with one run, two RBI and one walk against Stanford (3/9).
· Notched a home run, two RBI and a run in finale against Kansas?(3/16).

· Played first base and pitched for the Harwich Mariners under the direction of Coach Steve Englert in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League over the summer.
· Helped the Mariners to their first Cape Cod crown in 23 years.
· Batted .248 with 20 runs, 34 hits, seven doubles, two triples, five home runs and 25 RBI in 37 games.
· Led the Mariners in runs (20), triples?(2), home runs (5) and RBI (25).
BEFORE TEXAS
· Played one year for San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas as a left-handed pitcher and designated hitter under Coach Tom Arrington.
· Batted .441 with 10 home runs to garner all-conference designated hitter honors and the 2007 Juco World Series Big Stick Award for the third-ranked Gators as a freshman.
· Selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 11th round of the 2007 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
· Played for Coach Heath Autry[apos]s Coppell Copperheads in the Texas Collegiate League (TLC) as a left-handed pitcher and outfielder, helping the team log a 30-19 record.
· Batted .340 with six home runs, seven doubles, two triples, 22 runs, 38 hits and 22 RBI helping the Copperheads win the 2007 TLC Championship and earning championship series MVP honors.
HIGH SCHOOL
· A four-year letterwinner as pitcher and outfielder under Coach Glen Kimble at Hudson High School in Lufkin, Texas.
· As a senior, garnered district MVP, all-state and All-America honors for the Hornets.
· Named district co-MVP and first-team all-state as a junior.
· Awarded district co-MVP honors as a sophomore.
· Named first-team all-district as a freshman.
· Selected by the Boston Red Sox in the 11th round of the 2006 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
