· Ranked as the No. 20 recruit in the state on Inside Prep Baseball[apos]s 2008 Texas Top 25 list.
· Batted .400 with 12 doubles, a school-record 39 RBI and a .562 on-base percentage to earn All-District 14-5A honors as a junior.
· Also starred in football at Georgetown, earning Class 5A All-State honorable mention from The Associated Press as a quarterback in 2007.
