AS A FRESHMAN (2019)
Made eight appearances including one start during freshman season...logged a total of 9 2/3 innings pitched…allowed no earned runs and had a season high six strikeouts over 3 1/3 innings at Stanford on March 8...made first career start against Arkansas on March 19…first career appearance was at Louisiana on Feb. 17.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in three seasons at Churchill High School under head coach Dennis Schlueter…named first team All-District and first team academic All-District as a senior…named second team All-District as a junior…played basketball for three seasons, lettering in his sophomore and junior years…earned unanimous All-District honors as a junior and was twice voted to the All-Tournament team.

Son of Joe and Amy Neely…has a younger brother named Jake… his grandfather and great-grandfather (both named Jack) played football at UT.
