AS A FRESHMAN (2016)
Finished his freshman season with an 0-1 record and a 5.47 ERA (15-ER, 24.2-IP) … his ERA rose to 5.47 after allowing 10 earned runs in his final five appearances, totaling three innings pitched from April 22 to May 28 … went 11.2 innings without allowing an earned run from March 15 to April 9, bringing his ERA down to a season-low 1.45 … struck out three batters in 2.1 innings of relief against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on April 5 … earned his first career save on March 19 vs. Tulane, holding the Green Wave scoreless over three innings while striking out two … appeared in two games vs. California on March 5 and 6 and did not allow an earned run in 1.1 innings pitched … on March 1 vs. Texas State, held the Bobcats scoreless in one inning of work … pitched three scoreless in relief on February 25 vs. Stanford, allowing just one hit … made his collegiate debut on February 19 vs. UNLV, striking out one in 1.1 innings of relief.
