AS A FRESHMAN (2016)
Finished the season 14-for-15 in stolen base attempts … totaled three outfield assists on the season … compiled eight game-tying or go-ahead RBI on the season to go along with 11 two-out RBI …finished the season with a .400 average (16-for-40) with runners in scoring position … went 2-for-4 with a two-run double on May 17 vs. Texas State … compiled a seven-game hitting streak from April 15 to April 24, batting .375 (9-for-24) and raising his average 32 points in that stretch … went 4-for-12 in three games at Texas Tech from April 22-24 … hit his first collegiate home run on April 24 at Texas Tech, a three-run shot in the second inning … went 2-for-5 in that game … went 4-for-10 in the series vs. Kansas (April 15-16) … registered his first career extra-base hit—an RBI double—on April 3 at Oklahoma … went 2-for-4 on March 24 vs. TCU, his first start since leaving the game February 26 vs. Stanford with a fractured hand … had missed 16 games following the injury, but pinch-ran three times in that span … made his collegiate debut on February 19 vs. UNLV, the season opener, and collected a hit in his first at-bat … also drove in his first RBI and swiped his first stolen base in the game.
