Has allowed two runs or fewer in eight of his 12 starts this year ... allowed just three earned runs in 21 2/3 innings in his first three Tuesday starts ... Set a career high with eight strikeouts against Prairie View A&M on April 29 while tossing five solid innings and winning his sixth game of the year ... Won his seventh game of the year against Texas Tech May 21 in the opening game of the Big 12 Tournament when he threw 5 1/3 innings allowing only one run .. picked up his fifth win of the year April 1 against Rice going 6 2/3 innings and allowing only two runs ... earned his fourth win of the season against Texas State on March 25 when he threw seven innings yielding only one run while strinking out a season high five batters ... pitched a career-high eight innings against Dallas Baptist on March 18, allowing only two hits and no runs, while striking out three and picking up his third win of the season ... notched his second win of the season against Hawai'i on March 9 when he threw five strong innings, yielding only three hits, two walks and one run ... threw seven innings, surrendering five hits and one run, in a win in his Longhorn debut against Cal on February 15.
2012 & 2013 at NAVARRO COLLEGE
Went 9-2 with a 2.84 ERA in 15 appearances spanning 76 innings in 2013 at Navarro ... recorded 67 strikeouts to just 17 walks ... in the summer of 2013, played for the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod League ... won the PFC Whitehouse Outstanding Pitcher Award ... made seven starts in the regular season and went 4-1 with a 1.19 ERA, allowing just five earned runs in 37 2/3 innings of work ... put forth his best performance in the CCBL playoffs, when he went seven scoreless innings and allowed just two hits in a 6-0 win ... named the Cape Cod League Pitcher of the Week on Aug. 13 for his effort ... in the regular season and playoffs combined, the right-hander went 5-1 with a 1.01 ERA and 33 strikeouts.

Played four years of baseball and under coach and father Calvin Schiraldi at St. Michaels Academy in Austin, seeing time at catcher, first base, third base and pitcher … named to the All-State team as a pitcher his senior season … also played football and basketball.
