Started at center in the season opener vs. North Texas, but suffered an ankle injury that ended his year ... had his team-best 40 straight starts snapped vs. BYU ... first-team Academic All-Big 12 ... helped the offense rush for 163 yards vs. UNT and produce five scoring drives ... served as a game captain for the North Texas game and earned the team’s offensive player of the game award.
