A LOOK AT THE MATCHUP
• Texas holds a 9-0 all-time record vs. Prairie View A&M, with all nine games coming in Austin.

A LOOK AT THE LONGHORNS
• After dropping three games to TCU on the road this past weekend, Texas welcomes a five-game home stand, where they hold a 15-7 record on the season while posting a 2.05 ERA and .271 batting average.
• Opponents are hitting just .216 at UFCU Disch-Falk Field this year and have a 4.68 ERA over the 22 games.
• Despite scoring just one run in a loss in the series finale vs. TCU, the Longhorns are averaging 6.0 runs a game over their past seven contests.
• Freshman pitcher Connor Mayes tossed 5 1/3 innings of relief on Sunday, and he now qualifies for ninth in the Big 12 in ERA at 2.17 over 45 2/3 innings on the year with 35 strikeouts.
• The right-hander from Lake Travis leads Big 12 freshmen in ERA (2.17), appearances (23) and opponent batting average (.209).
• Junior left fielder Ben Johnson leads the Big 12 in triples (7), is second in total bases (105) and is third in hits (66) and slugging percentage (.553). Senior right fielder Collin Shaw leads the league in doubles (16).
• With a two-hit and three-hit game this past weekend, Johnson now has a team-leading 21 multi-hit games in 2015, including eight games with three or more base knocks.
• Senior second baseman Brooks Marlow was charged with an error in the bottom of the eighth inning on Sunday that snapped a streak of 277 2/3 innings without an error. The last miscue had come on March 8 at Stanford, and he is fielding .987 on the season.
• Of Texas' 22 losses, nine have come by one run, including a loss to TCU on Saturday (4/25). UT also has five losses by two runs and six in extra innings. In the last 19 games, the Horns have dropped four in extras and five by one run.
• UT is outscoring its opponents 63-21 in the seventh and eighth innings this season, and is 17-0 when leading after seven frames.
