Appeared in 11 games at Cuesta and threw 7.2 innings, striking out 10…made the Dean’s List…named Perfect Game Top 10 Futures Collegiate Baseball League Prospect over the summer.
OKLAHOMA STATE (2016)
Earned a redshirt in his freshman season…earned Dean's List recognition in both semesters.

A 2015 Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American and Texas All-Region First Team… led Marcus High School to regional finals in both baseball and basketball…earned baseball 6-6A All-District DH honors and was an All-District performer in basketball…Academic-All State honors senior year.
PERSONAL
Parents are Bob and Katie Verplank…has one brother, Austin, who played baseball at Pepperdine…his father played golf at Houston Baptist…his uncle, Scott Verplank, won an NCAA golf championship at Oklahoma State and has played on the PGA Tour since 1986…his grandfather, Bobby, lettered in baseball at Texas in 1959.
