AS A REDSHIRT-JUNIOR (2018)
Entered at second base on March 3 in game two vs. Northwestern and went 1-for-1 with a walk…made his first start of the season on Feb 18 vs. Louisiana.
AS A JUNIOR (2017)
Underwent right shoulder arthroscopy on March 22, ending his season…had appeared in seven games, making three starts for the Longhorns…went 3-for-12 with an RBI.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016)
Reached base three times (H, BB, HBP) against Texas State (April 26) bringing in two runs and swiping his seventh base of the season … named the Big 12 Player of the Week after hitting .467/.529/.800 in four games from April 19 to April 24 … set a career high in hits (4-for-4), RBIs (6), and doubles (2) in the final of a three game series at Texas Tech (April 22-24) … hit his first homer of the year in that last game against the Red Raiders while batting 6-for-12 over the entire weekend … returned to the lineup in the first game of a three-game series against Kansas (April 15) after missing the previous 14 with an injury … played in every game of that Jayhawks series, splitting time between designated hitter and shortstop … hit a double down the left field line to bring in two runs, for his second multi-RBI game of the season in a win over Tulane (March 19) … tied his career high for hits in a game, going 3-for-5 (.600) with two RBIs and a stolen base in a victory over Sam Houston State University (March 8) … went 5-for-11 (.455), with two doubles, one walk, and an RBI in a four-game series against California (March 3-6) … made his season debut on Feb 25 vs. Stanford … on Feb 26 vs. Stanford, stole a career-best 4 bases in the game … was the most SB for a Longhorn since Ben Johnson stole four on April 28, 2015 vs. Prairie View A&M.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015)
Finished the season with a .742 OPS in 146 plate appearances on the year … second on the team in batting average (.294) and third in on-base percentage (.377) … had two hits and a run scored against Oregon State May 29 … earned All-Tournament designated hitter honors after hitting .353 (6-for-17) with a run scored in the Big 12 Tournament (May 20-24) … went 5-for-13 (.385) with two runs, a walk, a steal and an RBI against Baylor (May 16 & 17) … hit .300 (3-for-10) with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base vs. Texas Tech May 1-3 … was a perfect 3-for-3 with a double, a run scored, a hit-by-pitch, a stolen base and two RBIs against Prairie View A&M on April 28 … hit his first career home run, as well as a key two-out two RBI double at Kansas on April 19 … recorded a career-high three hits vs. Wichita State April 7; also walked, scored twice and drove in a run in the contest … had the No. 6 play on SportsCenter’s Top 10 for a play made at shortstop vs. WSU, when he ranged to his left, slid, and threw long across the diamond for an out … smashed two hits including a game-tying RBI double against Texas A&M Corpus Christi on March 31 … had an RBI infield single against Texas State on March 24 … drove in his first run on February 21 against Minnesota (game two) on a base hit … made his first college start February 21 against Minnesota (game one) and went 1-for-2 with two runs scored, a stolen base and a walk … scored his first career run against Minnesota on February 20 … made his first collegiate appearance when he pinch-ran against Rice on February 15.

A three-year letter winner at McKinney High School for coach Jeremy Price … missed his senior season due to injury … played shortstop his sophomore and junior seasons and third base as a freshman … named to the Connie Mack World Series Team as a junior …earned first team all-district honors his junior season when he hit .383 with 17 RBI and 18 stolen bases … named second team all-district as a sophomore and a freshman.
