AS A SENIOR (2015)
Finished his Texas career ranked second in assists with (668) and sacrifice bunts (42) … ranks third all-time in double plays turned (144), games started (217) … ended the season third on the team in home runs (6) and fourth in hits (54) … went 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored against Oregon State (May 29) in the Dallas Regional that included a game-tying, two-run home run in the top of the eighth inning … earned All-Tournament second base honors after a 3-for-9 effort with a tie for the team lead in RBIs with four at the Big 12 Tournament (May 20-24) … launched his fifth homer of the year in a 2-for-5, three RBI effort vs. Prairie View A&M on April 28 … went 3-for-10 against TCU (April 25 & 26) with his fourth homer of the year, a triple, three runs scored, two RBIs and two walks … had a 5-for-11 (.455) series vs. Kansas State (March 20-22) … was 2-for-5 with a double, a home run and an additional run scored against West Virginia (March 13) … scored two runs and launched his second home run of the season against Incarnate Word (March 10) … went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a walk against Stanford on March 8 … was 1-for-3 with a run scored vs. UTPA on February 25 … went 2-for-5 with a double and a career-high four RBIs vs. Minnesota February 22 … had two hits, including a solo home run, in game two of the doubleheader against Minnesota (Feb. 21) ... recorded one hit in each of the four games against Rice (February 13-15), including two doubles, and also scored a run and drew two walks in the series.
AS A JUNIOR (2014)
Started all 67 games at second base and won the Rawlings Gold Glove at his position ... fielded at a .991 clip, committing just three errors in 337 chances while turning 56 double plays ... named second team All-Big 12 ... hit .268 and had a .383 on-base percentage which was second on the team behind Mark Payton ... drew 47 walks which was tied for the second most in the Big 12 ... went 1-for-1 with a triple, two runs scored, an RBI and two walks against Vanderbilt on June 20 ... earned All-Regional Team honors at the Houston Regional (May 30-June 2) for his 6-for-17 effort, with a double, a home run, two runs scored, two RBIs, a walk and a hit by pitch ... had four hits, including the game-winning RBI single in the 11th inning to help defeat Rice on May 31 ... his lead off home run in the bottom of the first inning against Texas A&M on May 30 helped ignite the team to an 8-1 victory ... was 2-for-2 with three walks, a triple and two runs scored in the second game against Oklahoma State May 24 ... went 6-for-15 with two doubles, a triple, two runs scored, two walks and a stolen base in the series against Kansas State (May 16-18) ... had a 4-for-5 day at the plate with an RBI and a run scored against West Virginia on May 2 ... hit his second home run of the season April 13 against Oklahoma ... was 4-for-12 with two doubles, three runs scored, an RBI and three walks in the weekend series against Baylor (April 4-6) ... went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and a walk against Baylor on April 4 ... scored three runs and had a hit against Rice on April 1 ... had a 6-for-15 weekend against Texas Tech (March 28-30) with three doubles, a home run, two RBIs, four runs scored and three walks ... launched his first home run of the season in a 4-for-6 effort with two doubles, three runs scored and an RBI against Texas Tech on March 28 ... went 5-for-12 with four walks, four runs scored, a stolen base and three RBIs in the three-game series against Columbia (March 21-22) ... was 1-for-2 with a run scored and three walks against Dallas Baptist on March 18 ... had a triple and an RBI against Texas State on March 11 ... went 2-for-3 with two walks against Valparaiso March 4 ... had two of the team's four hits in the win over UTPA on February 25 ... went 3-for-10 with three runs scored, two RBIs, and four walks in the series against Stanford (Feb. 21-23) ... was 2-for-5 with a stolen base, run scored, and a RBI agains Texas A&M Corpus Christi February 18 ... scored two runs and had one RBI in the season opening series against Cal ... named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2013 fall semester.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2013)
Played in 47 games last year and started 44 while batting .250 ... totaled 40 hits, 18 runs, 10 doubles, and one home run ... his 10 doubles were tied for second most on the team ... amassed seven multi-hit games, including four in conference play ... recorded at least one base hit in 21 of the last 22 games and finished the season on an 11-game hitting streak that will carry into this season ... during a doubleheader against Texas Southern on May 11 went 3-for-8 with a double, triple, three RBIs, and three runs scored ... went 3-for-3 against West Virginia on April 19 ... against Minnesota on March 24 he recorded three hits, a stolen base, and a run scored ... his one home run was a two-run shot on March 5 against UT- Pan American ... named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2012 fall semester.
AS A FRESHMAN (2012)
Made 51 starts in 52 games, batting .214 (37-for-173) with 25 runs, four doubles, two triples, two home runs, 29 RBI and two stolen bases ... named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team ... led the team with 13 sacrifice hits ... became the first player in Texas history to hit two home runs in his collegiate debut (Feb. 18 against Duke), adding three RBI in the process ... drew a walk and tallied two RBI on May 6 at Missouri ... knocked in a run and had a double on April 22 against Kansas ... recorded two RBI ... went 5-for-13 in the Texas Tech with at least one hit in every game with five runs scored and four RBI ... went 2-for-5 with two RBI on April 7 at Texas Tech ... walked twice and added two RBI on April 5 at Texas Tech ... had two RBI on March 24 at Kansas State ... went 2-for-3 with a triple and one RBI on March 20 against Stephen F. Austin ... had a 1-for-4 day with two RBI on March 17 at Oklahoma ... registered three hits in back-to-back games on March 2 against Rice and March 3 against Tennessee at the Houston College Classic ... posted three RBI against Rice on March 2.
