AS A SENIOR (2015)
Earned Co-Most Outstanding Pitcher honors at the Big 12 Tournament after winning two games, including a complete game victory over Texas Tech (May 20) where he allowed just one run while striking out six, surrendering just eight hits and one walk... also got the win in the championship against Oklahoma State (May 24) when he allowed just a run in an inning of relief ... was named to the All-Big 12 second team on May 19 ... achieved the Academic Leadership Award and honors from the Friar Society for his academic work in his four years at Texas ... moved past Greg Swindell into sole possession of fifth place on the school’s career starts list after making his 51st on Friday May 1 against Texas Tech (finished with 54) ... ranked seventh in the Big 12 in ERA (2.57) … ended his career ranked second in the Big 12 among active career leader in innings pitched (339.2) and third in wins (22) … in 2015 Big 12 play, he held a 2.42 ERA (sixth in the league) and his 36 strikeouts rank tied for seventh ... named one of 30 candidates for the Senior CLASS Award on March 24 … allowed two earned runs or less in 12 of 14 starts this season ... tossed 7 2/3 scoreless innings vs. the Red Raiders (5/1), earning his third win of the year while surrendering seven hits and three walks, and matching his season high with seven strikeouts in what was likely his final start at UFCU Disch-Falk Field ... allowed just one run over six innings on four hits and one walk while striking out five in an eventual Longhorn 3-2 victory in 14 innings at Kansas on April 17 ... pitched 7 2/3 innings vs. Oklahoma on April 10, allowing two runs (one earned) in a no-decision ... spun six innings vs. Kansas State (March 21, game one), allowing three runs (one earned) on seven hits and three walks while striking out four in a no decision … hurled a career-high nine innings, and a season-high seven strikeouts, vs. West Virginia on March 13 while surrendering three runs (two earned) on seven hits and a walk in a no-decision … earned his second win of the year March 7 at Stan-ford when he pitched seven innings, allowing just one run in an eventual 3-1 victory … picked up his first win of 2015 against Minnesota February 20 when he spun six innings with one strikeout while allowing just one unearned run on four hits ... pitched five innings of one-run ball with one strikeout, while allowing four hits and hitting three batters, vs. Rice in the season opener (Feb. 13) of an eventual 3-1 Texas win ... named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2014 fall semester.
AS A JUNIOR (2014)
Went 7-5 with a 2.41 ERA which ranked third on the team and 10th in the Big 12 ... a member of the Academic All-Big 12 first team ... finished second on the team with 62 strikeouts and 104 2/3 innings pitched ... made 20 appearances, 17 of them starts ... ranks third among active Big 12 players in career innings pitched (248 2/3) and tied for fourth in wins (17) ... nabbed his seventh win of the season on June 16 against Louisville in the College World Series by throwing 7 1/3 innings of one-run ball with three strikeouts in a 4-1 victory ... won his sixth game of the year June 7 against Houston in the Austin Super Regional, when he threw six shutout innings while allowing five hits ... earned his first save of the season May 22 against Oklahoma State in the Big 12 Tournament when he threw four shutout innings in relief of a 3-0 victory ... notched his fifth win of the season April 25 against Oklahoma State when he threw six scorless innings allowing only one hit in a 3-0 win ... threw seven strong innings against Texas Tech on March 28, allowing only one run on six hits and two walks while striking out two en route to his fourth victory of the season ... went 7 1/3 innings while yielding six hits, one run and striking out six in a win against Columbia March 22 ... struck out six in 7 1/3 innings against Hawai’i on March 7 while allowing two runs (one earned) but didn’t factor into the decision ... picked up his second win of the year against Houston on March 1 when he struck out seven in seven innings of work while only allowing one run ... won his first game of 2014 against Stanford on February 21 when he went six innings allowing only four hits and one run while striking out a career-high eight ... went five innings, yielding only four hits and six unearned runs, while striking out four in a loss to Cal on February 14 ... named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2013 fall semester and the 2014 spring semester.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2013)
Made 13 starts primarily as the team’s No. 1 starter as a sophomore, posting a 4-5 record with a 2.68 ERA ... in 77 1/3 innings, allowed 69 hits and 23 earned runs with 24 walks, 46 strikeouts and a .240 opponents’ batting average ... threw three innings as part of a combined seven-inning no-hitter on May 11 against Texas Southern ... allowed two runs on seven hits with four walks and two strikeouts in seven innings on May 3 against Kansas State ... allowed only one earned run in five innings with three walks and three strikeouts on April 26 at Baylor ... took the loss in a 1-0 decision on April 19 against West Virginia despite going 7 1/3 innings where he allowed one run on five hits with a walk and season-high seven strikeouts ... gave up two runs in 5 1/3 innings with five hits on April 5 against No. 13 Oklahoma in a 2-1 loss ... threw six scoreless innings on March 15 against Texas Tech with two hits, two walks and four strikeouts ... picked up his third win with a season-high eight innings on March 8 against UC Santa Barbara, allowing one run on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts ... tagged with the loss on March 1 at No. 15 Stanford despite giving up only two runs on two hits in seven innings ... gave up two runs on eight hits in 6 1/3 innings with a walk and six strikeouts on Feb. 22 against Nebraska to get the win ... in his season debut, earned the win against Sacramento State with seven shutout innings, allowing three hits with no walks and five strikeouts ... he was named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2012 fall semester.
AS A FRESHMAN (2012)
