• Took third in the 400 meters at the UT vs. Arkansas Dual Meet in a time of 47.87
2009-10
OUTDOOR (JUNIOR)
• Ran a season-best time of 47.01 in the 400 meters in the prelims of the Big 12 Championships
• Finished second in the 400 meters at the UT vs. Arkansas Dual Meet in a time of 47.23

• Captured the 2007 Texas 5A 400m Championship in a prep-best 46.76
• Won the 2006 Texas 4A title in the 400 meters in 47.96
• Won the 400 meters at the Great Southwest meet (46.92) and the Nike High School Championships (46.89) in 2007
• Earned a spot at the IAAF World Junior Championships after placing fifth in the 200m (22.14) at the 2006 USA Youth Outdoor Track and Field Championships, and sixth (21.94) in the 200m at the 2006 USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships
• Competed at the International Athletics Association Federation (IAAF) World Youth Championships in Ostrava, Czech Republic
• Placed seventh at the World Youth Championships in 48.13
• Ran the open 400m, clocking the fastest time in the third heat (47.71) before lowering his performance time to 47.70 in the semifinals
• Anchored the sprint medley relay to a gold medal in 1:51.34
