Earned Academic All-Big 12 Baseball first team distinction honors for 2016 and was named Team Academic MVP … earned his first career at-bat in the bottom of the eighth innning in a victory over Prarie View A&M (May 3) … served as the team's bullpen catcher and finished as a four-year letterwinner.
