2006 SEASON
· Member of the Longhorns' 2006 pitching staff.
· Pitched for the Santa Barbara Foresters of the California Collegiate League under the direction of head coach Bill Pintard.
· Pitched in 13 games for Santa Barbara, including six starts, as he posted a 5-0 mark, a team-best 1.08 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 41.2 innings.
· Helped lead the Foresters to a CCL crown, titles at the Maxim Invitational and California Cup and the championship of the National Baseball Congress (NBC) World Series.

2005 SEASON
· Redshirted.
· Worked back into form during the summer in order to be ready for the start of the official Fall Practice period.
HIGH SCHOOL
· Four-year letterwinner as a pitcher and outfielder for Coach Randy Talley[apos]s Rockwall (Texas) High School baseball squad.
· Helped the Yellowjackets capture bi-district, area and regional
quarterfinal championships from 2002-04, while also reaching the regional semifinals in 2002 and 2003 before advancing to the regional finals in 2004. Rockwall posted at least 28 wins during each of his final three seasons, including 32 in 2004.
· Collected six wins and a 2.50 ERA on the hill as a senior while batting a career-best .383 with 35 runs scored, 40 RBI, nine doubles, one triple and six home runs on his way to first-team all-district, all-area and all-state honors as an outfielder.
· Named a first-team all-state outfielder as a junior, batting .378 with 30 hits, 22 runs and 23 RBI.
· Went 12-2 with a 1.31 ERA and 121 strikeouts over 90 innings on the mound for the Yellowjackets as a junior en route to picking up first-team all-district and all-state accolades.
· Aided Rockwall in posting a 28-12 overall record as a sophomore by hitting .353 with 18 runs, 25 RBI, 11 doubles, three triples and three home runs and going 11-0 with a 1.70 ERA and 110 strikeouts over 78 innings to garner first-team all-district, all-state and all-area honors as a hurler.
· Chosen as the 2002 District 9-5A Defensive Most Valuable Player.
· Earned second-team all-district honors as a freshman by batting .286 with 16 hits, four doubles, one triple, 13 runs and four RBI.
· Utilized as a pitcher, outfielder and third baseman for Coach Heath Autry[apos]s Dallas Tigers during the summer of 2003. Earned Junior Sunbelt Team honors as a member of the Tigers while also being selected to play in the 2003 Texas Scouts Association Game at Minute Maid Park and named to the roster of the Texas Rangers Area Code Team.
· Member of the National Honor Society.
· Earned academic letters as well as the school[apos]s Lantern Award during each of his four years, while receiving a Character Education honor in ninth grade and being named Who[apos]s Who Among American High School Students in each of his final two years.
PERSONAL
Born Drew Hardie Bishop on Sept. 14, 1985, in Fort Worth, Texas ... parents are Randy and Cathie Bishop ... both of his parents graduated from UT and his dad, Randy, was a member of the Longhorns football team from 1964-67 ... majoring in sport management ... has been on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll every semester at UT ... serves as a tutor and mentor in the Athletics Department ... officer on the Student-Athletes' Advisory Council.
