The Texas women won 14 of the 19 scored events, with a trio of Longhorns winning multiple events as individuals. Overall, the Longhorns won 125 of 146 (85.6%) possible points (8 points possible per individual event; 5 points available in relays).
Elena Bruckner was the high-point scorer for the Longhorns on the women's side, tallying 15 points with wins in the hammer, discus and shot put competitions. Bruckner began her outstanding day by breaking her own school record in the hammer throw with a winning mark of 56.82m/186-5. After that, she threw the discus 57.35m/188-2 – the second-best mark on UT record behind only another school record she owns. Bruckner capped the day by throwing the shot 16.84m/55-3 to complete her trio of wins.
In addition to Bruckner, Tara Davis and Kynnedy Flannel each won two individual titles on their own.
Davis first dominated in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking a 13.14 in her first outdoor appearance in the hurdles for Texas. Her time is tied for the 11th-best in the NCAA this season, and moved her into ninth place in Texas history. She followed it up with a win in the long jump, where her best mark of 6.71m/22-0.25 blew past the field. Davis' effort comes on the heels of breaking Jackie Joyner-Kersee's 36-year-old collegiate record with a jump of 7.14m/23-5.25 at the Texas Relays last weekend.
Flannel swept the sprint double on Saturday, winning the 100- and 200-meter dashes in personal-best times. She first won the 100-meter race with a time of 11.23 – the fourth-fastest in the NCAA this season and one that moves her to 10th on Texas' top performers list. Flannel returned with an NCAA-leading 22.55 in her signature event, the 200-meter dash. That time pushes her into a tie with Nanceen Perry for third on UT's top performers list.
On the men's side, a Longhorn topped the leaderboard in 12 of 19 events led by Micaiah Harris, who won the sprint double (100m, 200m) on Saturday. The Texas men won 113 of 146 (77.4%) possible points.
Harris, A Virginia Beach, Va. native, opened with a win in the 100-meter dash behind a personal-best 10.28. His time is tied for the 11th-best in the NCAA this season and ranks just outside of UT's all-time top 10. He returned later in the afternoon to win the 200-meter dash, his signature event, in 20.63 – the eighth-fastest by a collegiate competitor this year.
